WWEC 2020 has ended
A Few Notes For the Day:

* WEA Individual Consultation Appointments: WEA will be hosting individual consultation appointments throughout the day. Please see the sign-up link within the first session, "WEA Member Benefits - Individual Consultation Sign-Up Links". If you sign up for an appointment, please do not select a break-out session during that time. Space is limited in all sessions so we need to be able to account for every seat.

* 5-10 Minute Chair Massages will be taking place from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in Room 234 courtesy of Tina W. There is no sign-up, just walk-up appointments.

* Parking: There is limited street parking around Central High School. Shuttles will be available from the former K-Mart parking lot to Central.

* Lunch: There will not be lunch offered this year through WWEC.  Please feel free to signup to attend the La Crosse Soup session from 11:20-12:50 in the New Commons. Attending this session has a suggested donation of $5. Like a La Crosse SOUP event, $5 will get you a soup lunch and a vote for your favorite pitch. Each middle school will be giving a pitch on a way to better their school or their community.  All donations will directly help fund the winning pitch!

Limited Capacity full

Educators typically lead busy lives and manage a number of tasks, schedules, and people. At times, we face difficult situations and are prone to painful emotions and distress. Mindfulness, along with quality self-care, can provide mental, emotional, and physical benefits. This session will introduce the concepts of mindfulness and self-care and explore how they work together. Participants will learn several exercises and experience guided meditations designed to enhance emotional wellbeing.

Take Away:
Attendees will learn about the concepts of mindfulness and self-care and come away with several exercises and guided meditations they can use to enhance their emotional well-being and coping skills.
